How to seize your market through video

A full day workshop with Nigel Collin & Simon Dikkenberg

A ‘vlog’ is a video-blog.

It gives you a powerful face-to-face connection with your existing and potential clients.

A vlog is a direct engagement meaning they’ll linger longer absorbing more of your message.

Broader bandwidths, YouTube, social network integration & audience thirst has fuelled a vlogging explosion.

The generally poor quality of both message delivery and production values means it is easy to look professional and stand out from the crowd... if you know what you're doing in these crucial areas.

Many people are great at presenting live, but presenting on camera requires a completely different set of skills.

‘VLOG it 2 FLOG it!‘ is a one day hands-on workshop designed to initiate you into the vlogo-sphere.

We’ll teach you how to:

  • ·     set up your vlog & YouTube channel
  • ·     connect & engage on camera
  • ·     weave a story that makes an impact
  • ·     look slick, for nix (camera, lighting, sound techniques)
  • ·     integrate vlogs into your regular blog

You need to bring a short piece ready to film (about 30-60 seconds in length)

We will not be creating a showreel (we’ll tackle those later). Instead expect to learn the tools and knowledge you need to create a cut-through video.

The day is limited to 12 people so we can work with each person.

Here's what other say about Nigel and Simon
'I've just completed Nigel Collin's training for presenting on camera. He shows you some awesome tricks to really connect with your audience. Even a room full of people that are savvy with presenting on stage and even me, a producer on the other side of the camera for 25 years, learned something new today and pushed myself outside that old comfort zone. Great course and I reckon anyone in Thought Leaders that's leading the way with communication and even getting savvy with marketing using video footage must do the workshop!'
Ann Miles - Magnetic Inspiration

'Simon creates a filming environment that makes regular people open up and tell their story on camera. He ensures that the talent walk having enjoyed the experience and feeling proud of the outcome. I have worked with Simon on a number of occasions and each time the videos tell a story that is engaging and honest. It is apparent that Simon is confident and competent using the camera.'
Lea Parker - Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia

'...awesome. Nigel has a knack of making you feel at ease in front of the camera, identifying your strengths and weaknesses and always making it fun. Thanks for the tips and making us realise it’s ok to make mistakes! Watch out for my future video blog!'
